A short history, a clear point of view
Vilmers began in 1997 in a workshop in Lithuania with a simple idea: furniture should make everyday life more comfortable and be built to last. Nearly three decades later, that starting point has not moved. The company designs and manufactures made-to-order sofas, sectionals, beds, and comfort chairs under one roof—frames cut, foamed, upholstered, and finished in-house—then ships them to homes across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
The style: calm forms, real comfort
Vilmers is not loud furniture. The look is Scandinavian in spirit—soft geometry, considered proportions, textures that sit quietly in a room rather than competing with architecture, art, or a view. Collections run from modular sofas (Loire, Nest, Verbena, Marigold, Mirage) to beds and sculptural lounge chairs. Designers can specify from more than 100 active models and 600-plus fabric and leather colors, plus legs, details, and configurations.
That made-to-order canvas is why the line works so well for trade. A Highland Park living room, a Fort Worth media suite, a Plano family room, and a Design District loft do not need the same sofa. Vilmers lets you keep one language of comfort and change the silhouette, scale, and covering.
Responsibility is part of the brief as well: FSC-accredited production, OEKO-TEX and REACH-certified fabrics, reduced glue use, recycled content in padding and packaging, and an ESG strategy aligned with nine UN Sustainable Development Goals. Comfort today is not supposed to cost the future.
Why McGannon loves the Comfort Chairs
Here is the honest reason this line is on our floor. Most recliners announce themselves. The mechanism wins. The room loses. Vilmers zero-gravity comfort chairs—models such as Shell and Dune—do the opposite. Upright, they look like refined lounge chairs: organic backs, sculptural arms, clean swivel bases. Reclined, they move into a balanced zero-gravity position with an integrated footrest, taking pressure off the back and legs without the visual bulk designers usually hide. Powered recline, swivel, and a wide fabric and leather program mean you can spec wellness-level sit without sacrificing the elevation of the room.
