Why hire a designer?
A Designer is a professional who has the expertise to create a space that reflects your personal style while staying true to the canvas of the space. Designers have the skills to see scale and proportion to create a balanced environment. The Design professional will prevent costly mistakes, guide you through the process, and respect your budget. Did you know some people have purchased furniture that they can't get in the house, but it fits in the room? Or what about the person who has been shopping for a sofa for over a year because she is overwhelmed by all the fabric options and styles? The Design professional is similar to your financial advisor or family physician, in that they have a specific skill set to improve one's quality of life. Isn't it time for you to enjoy your surroundings?
What is Find a Designer all about?
MCGS wants to provide an all inclusive website so we have made a list of our top designers who have shown outstanding design work throughout the years . These Designers are completely independent of MCGS and have different methods of working with clients. Feel free to give one of them a call and they will explain how they work. It is as simple as that and you are on the way to a new beginning!

What is the deal with the ship date?
The ship date is the date that the item is expected to leave the factory. It is only an estimated date. While cannot guarantee the arrival date of any product, we can provide ship date updates and track product location once it has shipped.
Why do I have to have a receiver?
Since most items come on a large truck that cannot go into neighborhoods, a receiver is required. A receiver is a company that will open, inspect, and deliver your furniture to your home.
What do I need to know when I pick up my furniture?
If you are using a professional delivery company, you will need to share with them the product that is being picked up, who the MCGS salesperson is and the location- "is it in the warehouse or showroom." If you are picking it up yourself, you will need two strong, able bodied people to pick up the item and load it into the vehicle. Please bring proper protective blankets, wrap and or straps to secure the item in your vehicle. You will also want to make sure the items fits in your vehicle. Be sure to measure before coming to pick up. If you need help with delivery, we have a delivery service that can help. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 682-556-4842 to set up your delivery time.
Why does shipping take so long?
The Furniture Freight Carriers are an industry that has struggled since the Great Recession and only 10-15 remain out of 25-30. Furniture Freight Carriers are the only specialized industry that know how to properly transport furniture- which is at high risk for damage. Now new Electronic Logging Devices mandated by Congress have thankfully improved safety for all drivers on the road; however, it has limited driving time for truck drivers. And last, but not least - there is a truck driver shortage. All in all this amounts to increased transport times everywhere, especially if you live outside a Metropolitan area. If you know anyone over 21 years of age who likes to drive and needs a job, let us know and we will make connections. email@example.com
